Monsoon Coming

It is indeed heartening to get wet in the pita peta raindrops of the falling rains incessantly. Drenching and lashing every aspect of our lives. ‘Monsoon’ God’s own season brings out the poet, artist, singer chef and child in each one of us! There is a tingle and great feeling of getting drenched in the natural shower. It is the children who can’t just resist the temptation of jumping in that puddle or whistle out loud braving the rains.

There is a music in the rain. Just listen to the pitter patter rain drops falling all around and there you go smiling. The music of rain is in the air and it soothes the eyes, ears, body, mind and our soul.Rains bring alive the emotions of a child hidden in each one of us. The fun and excitement is unlimited. Rain is a sport for many children and this sport is beyond anyone’s imagination. The rain waters fill the low lying areas and transform many into small rivulets and streams. Thus begins the fun and never ending excitement.

Monsoon time is the perfect time for river rafting. But for that you need to go to the river. But at this time of the early monsoon, its almost every lane becoming a small river and children making the most of it. Some may make fallen logs of trees into rafts and enjoy the swift water raft ride and have the ultimate thrill of rafting in a tormented stream of muddy water. What ever, you have to get wet to imagine the thrill of drenching it out in the monsoon rains with charcoal roasted corn on cob in your hands, just munching and feeling the rains.

With the entry of Monsoon in south  India , I have this thought of showing my way of monsoon. Hope you all like it.
